Raku thinker – on hold

This alluring man was raku fired twice. After the first firing, he simply looked plain and ordinary. I put on some new glaze, orange and blue over the eyes, not really knowing exactly what the end result would be (you rarely know in raku) and again submerged him in the 850 degree centigrade oven. That did it, his facial expression sprung to life: a thinker and dreamer.
